I’m an artist and a teacher, ready to remind my students why they love art! I graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a bachelor’s degree in art education in 2004. That summer, I married Brian and moved to Chicagoland, where I taught middle school art for the first time. In 2007, I became a mother, and we moved to Chillicothe, where I stayed home with my two boys until the littlest began kindergarten, when I came to teach art in Morton in 2015. In the meantime, I taught art lessons at the Crossword Café, an after-school youth center in Chillicothe. I also dabbled in illustration and watercolor, where my passion for art only grew! I am thrilled to be here in Morton, teaching in the classroom again!
