RED TEAM NEWS
Welcome to the Red Team webpage!
Mrs. Ronin Language Arts/L.A. Department Head
About the Teacher:
This will be my fifth year at MJHS teaching language arts. I have a love and passion for teaching, and I find myself extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to work in such a great school district and community. In 2002, I earned a BA in English and secondary education from the University of Iowa. Although I am certified to teach grades 6 - 12, I have discovered that I enjoy working with seventh and eighth grade students the most. I graduated in May 2008 from Bradley University with an MA in curriculum and instruction. As always, I look forward to working with everyone and am ready to have another awesome year. Please feel free to contact me via e-mail or phone with any questions or concerns that you might have.
Mission: My mission is to provide my students with a positive and comfortable learning environment where everyone is encouraged to participate and ask questions. It is my job to expose my students to the different genres of literature as well as to the traditional and creative forms of writing. In addition, I would like to inspire and motivate my students to discover the joy of reading.
